ELIGIBILITY
- Students must attend an Oklahoma GEAR UP School District.
- Students must be nominated by a teacher, counselor or administrator at the GEAR UP School they attend.
- All GEAR UP School Districts are guaranteed a total of four student enrollments for the institutes.
- Applicants must have completed grades 7 - 10 by June 1, 2013. Check each institute for grade level requirements.
Additional space in all institutes may open toward the end of the enrollment period if a school does not use all of their enrollments. Additional students will be selected from existing applicants if available. All participants will be selected by the director of the institute. Students not selected will be placed on a waiting list and notified if a spot becomes avaialble to them. It is recommended that the school counselor and math and science teachers enourage students to apply.

The deadline to apply for the GEAR UP Summer Institutes is May 1.
