March 19, 2007 :: Higher Education Chancellor Comments on Proposed State Budget
Oklahoma State System of Higher Education Chancellor Glen D. Johnson released the following statement in response to the Oklahoma Legislature’s proposed FY2008 budget:
“We appreciate the efforts of the House and Senate leadership, during a difficult budget year, to provide this year’s supplemental funding and next year’s full funding for the vitally important Oklahoma’s Promise scholarship program,” said Johnson. “We will continue to make the case for our overall budget needs, and we are confident that the Governor and legislative leadership will do all that they can to meet those needs.”
