What: Oklahoma Campus Compact’s Vocal Oklahomans in Civic Engagement (VOICE) Voter Registration Drive Winner

When: 9:30 a.m., Saturday, October 25, 2003

Where: Langston University Campus, East Entrance

Why: Langston University, which registered 445 voters, competed with 20 Oklahoma colleges and universities to register the most students based on the percentage of student voters registered compared to total campus enrollment. During the two-day event, a total of 2,539 students became registered voters.

Chancellor Paul Risser will honor the achievement of the students of Langston with the presentation of a banner.
