EVENT: "Giving Voice to Our Region" Regional Economic Summit, NSU

Northeastern State University will host a groundbreaking regional summit that will explore ways to implement "Making Place Matter" in northeastern Oklahoma and bordering states.
“Giving Voice to Our Region,” partners NSU with the Cherokee Nation and the Sequoyah-Adair-Cherokee Counties Employment Zone (SACC-EZ) to bring leaders together who share the goal of fostering economic development and building viable communities.
Among the expected outcomes will be successful strategic partnerships that embrace the stewardship model, “Making Place Matter,” which was implemented by the American Association of State Colleges and Universities and has been adopted by the Oklahoma State Regents for Education.
Sessions are scheduled in the Senator Herb Rozell Ballroom on NSU’s Tahlequah Campus. Additional information will be posted as it become available at www.nsuok.edu.
