EVENT: SWOSU Special Holiday Concert

Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Music Department has a special concert set for Sunday, Dec. 5, at 3 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center on the Weatherford campus.
The SWOSU Jazz Band and SWOSU Symphony Orchestra will showcase prominent arranger and percussionist Joe Wright of Oklahoma City. Wright will appear on drum set with both organizations, performing his own arrangements.
Wright has been commissioned to arrange a Christmas medley for the unique combination of orchestra and jazz band. Both concerts will include popular Christmas music sure to please all, according to directors Bob Chambers and Terry Segress.
Admission is free to the concert.
