Regent william stuart price

Regent William Stuart Price.Appointed in 2004 by Gov. Brad Henry, William Stuart Price is owner of an oil, gas and energy company in Tulsa. He has been in the oil and gas industry since 1983, having previously managed and owned an independent oil and gas company that focused on drilling production of natural gas in Oklahoma and Arkansas. He also worked for the Amerada Hess Corporation and Samson Resources Corporation. Price has been a member of the National Petroleum Council, the Governor's Energy Committee and the Oklahoma Independent Producers Association (OIPA).

Price has served as trustee for the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, chairman of the Tulsa City Park and Recreation Board, trustee of the University Center at Tulsa, member of the Rogers State College Foundation and national co-chair for fundraising at The University of Tulsa College of Law. He was a nominee for U.S. Congress, District 1, in 1994.

Price is a graduate of The University of Tulsa College of Law and a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.

Price and his wife Linda have four children.
