Transformative Learning Conference

The University of Central Oklahoma’s Transformative Learning Conference will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 28 in the Nigh University Center on Central’s campus. Themed “Implementing an Integrative Experience,” the full-day conference explores how to help students learn by providing transformative experiences that place students at the center of their own active and reflective learning experiences.

The conference features keynotes from Dan Glisczinski, Ed.D., associate professor in the department of education at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and Melissa Peet, Ph.D., director of integrative learning and knowledge management at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Glisczinski will explore key aspects of education neuroscience research through a transformative teaching and learning lens, while Peet will present “Helping Students Connect Hidden Insights and Meaning: Generative Knowledge and Integrative Learning.”
