Educational Resources for Student Veterans in Oklahoma

The Oklahoma State Regents and the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education are committed to supporting the unique needs of student veterans and their families as they work toward their college degrees, and we encourage all active and retired service members to take full advantage of the educational benefits available through Oklahoma institutions.

If our office can be of further assistance, contact Lindsay Echols at lechols@osrhe.edu.

Veterans Upward Bound

Veterans Upward Bound is designed to motivate and assist veterans in the development of academic and other requisite skills necessary for acceptance and success in a program of postsecondary education. The program provides assessment and enhancement of basic skills through counseling, mentoring, tutoring and academic instruction in the core subject areas. The primary goal of the program is to increase the rate at which participants enroll in and complete postsecondary education programs.
