Call for Proposals

The State Regents’ Campus Safety and Security Task Force welcomes proposals for concurrent sessions from college, university, technology center and community professionals that address issues, best practices, policy, research, operations or administration in the realm of campus safety and security. Successful proposals will reflect a clear purpose, a defined audience(s), stated learning objectives, timely subject matter, and scalability in various campus settings. Session format options may vary, including interactive presentations, case studies, and panel discussions.

While proposals reflecting any relevant, timely topic are encouraged, topics of particular interest for the 2025 Summit include:

  • Title IX and Clery Act administration and reporting
  • Developing/executing campus emergency operations plans
  • Developing/executing campus incident communication plans
  • Social media management during crisis communications
  • Drones on campus
  • Ransomware/cybersecurity mitigation/response/recovery

Session proposals are due by Friday, May 16. Completed proposal forms may be submitted via email or fax to Angela Caddell at acaddell@osrhe.edu or 405.225.9181 (fax). There is no guarantee a submitted proposal will be accepted.

  • Higher education campus presidents and vice presidents
  • CareerTech campus superintendents and assistant superintendents
  • Campus police officers and emergency managers
  • Campus counseling center staff
  • Regents and trustees
  • Student affairs and campus activity professionals (e.g. resident life, libraries, athletic venues)
  • Risk managers, facilities managers and environmental health and safety staff
  • Public information officers and event planners
  • Legislative affairs professionals

CLEET Accreditation

Prior Campus Safety and Security Summit content has been accredited by the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training. As the Summit content is confirmed, we will apply for CLEET certification of continuing education credit.
