About
The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education’s Regents Education Program helps regents and trustees develop the knowledge and skills needed to govern effectively in an increasingly complex higher education environment.
The annual conference provides practical training on governance, fiduciary responsibility, ethics, legal compliance, higher education policy, and emerging issues affecting Oklahoma colleges and universities.
Designed for:
- Newly appointed and reappointed regents
- Experienced regents seeking continuing education
- College and university presidents
Continuing Education Requirement:
Oklahoma law requires each appointed or reappointed regent or trustee to complete 15 hours of continuing education within two years of taking office, including two hours of ethics training. This conference provides an opportunity for participants to earn eligible continuing education credit toward that requirement.
