Title 70 O.S. § 3228 requires that all individuals appointed as a member of the board of regents for an institution or group of institutions within the Oklahoma state system of higher education complete a minimum of 15 clock hours of continuing education during the first two (2) years of their term of office. Each year, the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE) sponsors the Regents Education Program conference to provide opportunities for regents/trustees to earn their required hours of continuing education.
