The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education offer a number of grant programs to institutions. Listed below are online versions of and information about current Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
STEM Summer Academies – Request for Proposals
The Summer Academies offer an exciting opportunity for rising 8th–12th grade students to experience campus life while exploring careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). To learn more about the program and its requirements, please review the FY27 Summer Academies Request for Proposals (RFP) (PDF, 498k).
Proposal Submission Details
Institutions interested in hosting a Summer Academy on their campus are invited to submit a proposal by 5 p.m. on Aug. 14, 2026.
Note: This RFP covers a three-year grant program, contingent upon the availability of continued funding each year.
How to Submit
Please complete the 2027 STEM Summer Academy Submission Form to submit your proposal. Within the online application, you will be required to upload the following documents:
- FY27 Summer Academies Budget (XLXS, 13k)
- FY27 Statement of Assurances (PDF, 19k)
- FY27 Recipient Commitment Form (PDF,29k)
- Proposal narrative
- Letter of institutional support (sample provided in the RFP)
- Brief vitae of professional staff
- Student participant application questions and requirements
